Last week's flurry of Twitter DM spam from hacked or phished accounts wasn't the first instance of that and won't be the last.

As long as people are willing to trust their Twitter log-in information to third parties - and don't look carefully at URLs before they log into websites - and as long as a small number of bad actors want to pee in the social media swimming pool, this kind of thing will continue happening.

And it's not just the log-in-here-and-we-will-steal-your-password.com's of the world you have to worry about. Legitimate third-party services whose security isn't up to snuff could be compromised, and your credentials could be stolen from them. Twitter's use of OAuth is a big step forward... although the rash of Mobster World spam shows that that isn't a perfect solution either.

Apparently there's no substitute for ruthlessly and constantly policing your own feed, thoroughly investigating services before you sign up for them, double-checking the URL every time you are about to enter info into a form, and regularly purging your OAuth settings of services you no longer use.

Also, to be safe, change your password regularly... you don't have to be obsessive about it: every three hours or so should be enough. And because erring on the side of caution is always a good idea, fake your own suicide and change your identity at least once a year.

And you thought Twitter was going to be fun? Slacker.

But after inspecting it closely he realised that the remarkable split colours on the fruit were a natural phenomenon. And the bizarre apple turned Mr Morrish into something of a celebrity in his village with scores of neighbours queuing up to take a photograph of it.

I heard that Myanmar government announced today via MRTV that 5000 kyats Myanmar currency will become official currency soon. People could use it starting from 1st October 2009. I'm not sure this news is correct or not.But if it is truth, it will become the highest currency in Myanmar.

A WOMAN has made hisstory after discovering a ONE-LEGGED snake in her bedroom.

Terrified Duan Qiongxiu jumped out of her skin when she came across the mutant reptile.

Scientists are now studying the slithering creature to see how it managed to grow a foot complete with four clawed toes on its stomach.

Duan, 66, of Suining, southwest China, said: "I woke up and heard a strange scratching sound. I turned on the light and saw this monster working its way along the wall using his claw."She was so scared she grabbed a shoe and beat the beast to death before preserving its body in a bottle of alcohol.

The creature which is 16 inches long and the thickness of a little finger is now being studied at the Life Sciences Department at China's West Normal University in Nanchong.Snake expert Long Shuai said: "It is truly shocking but we won't know the cause until we've conducted an autopsy.

You may want to know how to check your firefox browser version. It is not that difficult.Browse your browser, go to Help > About Mozilla Firefox , then it will show you the version of it as shown.By the way, do not download the latest version of firefox 3.5.2 which is so suck. I don't know why. Some people got similar problem like me. I just remind you in case if you want to use latest versioin. Just remember that it is so suck! :-)
