Sun Outage

Labels:

I have been working at satellite gateway for several years and this usage is always familiar with me.The natural phenomenon which used to occur in February,March,September and October of every year. It is a sort interruption to the satellite system caused by solar interference. Sun outage can calculate by using calculator. http://www.satellite-calculations.com/SUNcalc/SUNcalc.htm
Satellite services will experience loss of satellite signal for a short period of time from a few minutes to up to 15 minutes per a day. For example,UBC services will experience blocks or freeze frames in the picture before and after the peak times.

UBC channels that we receive at home are digitally from the satellite. Once it reaches the peak value, the interference gradually decreases and became less noticeable each day after the peak. We can’t prevent the sun outage effects technically.
